Circle of Legends

Real Estate is a great business. I get to put paradise in your hands, and I make a very good living doing it. I am a lucky man. Over the years, I have made some amazing friendships, met some of the most incredible people, and had an absolute blast. I have changed lives and they have changed mine; for the better. I have tried, since the moment I arrived in Costa Rica, to give as much back to this fascinating country that I can, because I am well aware of what it has given me. I love what I do and people tell me that it shows. Because of this passion, I have gotten a lot of recognition and received a ton of awards, but I am a very humble person at heart, and it is hard for me to take compliments. I don’t like to pat myself on the back. So, you can imagine how surprised I was, when this huge FedEx box arrived at the office the other day. I didn’t order any ceiling fans on Amazon, did I?

CIRCLE OF LEGENDS, is the second highest award that an individual can receive with RE/MAX. There are less than 500 active agents in the world who hold this status. Considering there are over 120,000 RE/MAX agents in over 100 countries, I am truly honored.

I have been fortunate, to be this successful, but I also know that I did not do it alone. One log makes a lousy fire. You have to have a strong team, and I am very grateful that I do.

I have great partners and tremendous agents; the best secretaries and a marvelous assistant; continued backing from the leaders at Corporate and the owners of our region. They are all irreplaceable. 

Most important of all, I want to thank my clients; you are top notch.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all of your loyalty; for continuing to refer your friends, and for mentioning and recommending me to strangers in town. 

I want to thank all my sellers who had enough confidence in me to give me their exclusive listings, knowing that I will always promote your property first.

Special thanks to all the developers who counted on RE/MAX year in and year out; we appreciate having the opportunity to represent you. We will never let you down.

I want to thank all of my friends and family in town or away, and those dearest to my heart, for consistently supporting me and my charities, giving unconditionally over and over; it is very special to see the generosity and to be a part of it; and to know you constantly have my back. I love you.

Thanks especially to my buyers; you are the future of Costa Rica. I welcome you and look forward to a long friendship. Fall in love with Pura Vida; I did. It fulfilled my life. And the Circle of Legends award is the icing on the cake.

I took a risk and came to Costa Rica with a dream, but I could never have fathomed that I would be where I am today or that it would have paid off like it has. We have been here and done that when everyone said it couldn’t happen. We proved the doubters wrong. I made a few mistakes along the way, but I stand by them, and I have lived up to them. We had a lot of challenges, but we always fought through. There were ups and there were downs, but it was always a hell of a fun ride. We took a couple sleepy little beaches and turned it into one of the most unbelievable places on the planet. Where there was once just a handful of people, is now a thriving community; one of the premiere places to call home. It is wonderful to see and I feel privileged that I have been a part of it since the beginning. Those of us that live here, give everybody else hope that they can do it too. I have been told countless times, that we are the inspiration; the only thing keeping these people going; setting a goal to follow in our footsteps.
