Covid-19 Update – Playas del Coco, Guanacaste, Costa Rica – July 29, 2020

Good afternoon everyone.  I just wanted to send out an update about the current Covid-19 situation happening right now in our little slice of paradise.  I also wanted to record these videos for you so you can see that I am doing well and we are waiting patiently for the borders to open up and things to return to normal so you can come and enjoy the lifestyle down here in our beautiful corner of the world.

First of all this is a short video with some up to date information as it relates to Covid-19 and being able to come to Costa Rica

I have spoken personally to many of you who are interested in what is happening with the Real Estate market.  In this next video I give a brief overview of the market conditions and what I think will happen going forward.

As many of you are aware – I am a huge proponent of getting your residency in Costa Rica for a variety of reasons.  I never thought it would be useful to have a Costa Rican residency during a global pandemic… but it turns out it is a big advantage.

One of the most common questions I am getting from Clients these days is whether it is possible to work online from home in Costa Rica.  IBM did a recent study that found 54% of jobs today can be done online from home.  Not only is it possible to do this in Costa Rica but many are already doing it and finding out that you can keep working and live in paradise at the same time.  What a way to enjoy life!  In this next video I explain some of the details of why Costa Rica is a perfect place to work from home online.

And finally, based on the new normal of social distancing, I discuss in this next video why I think Vacation and Rental Properties are going to jump in popularity as more people will look to vacation in an individual Home or Condo vs. a large Hotel or Cruise Ship.
